Atlas, inside Microsoft Office.
Ask Atlas brings the Atlas Super Agent into Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. It reads only what you point it at, shows you every change before it makes it, and never sends mail on your behalf.
Write & refine
Summarise the document, tighten a paragraph or draft a section, in the document's own styles.
Analyse & explain
Ask questions of your data, build formulas and charts, and see what a model is doing cell by cell.
Structure & design
Turn notes into a narrative, rewrite slides for an audience, or design a deck from scratch.
Triage & respond
Summarise long threads, find what needs action, and draft replies in your voice.
Install it on your machine
One command, no admin rights. There is nothing to build or run locally because the add-in is hosted. Afterwards, open Word, Excel or PowerPoint and click Ask Atlas on the Home tab, or open a message in Outlook and click it there.
macOS
In Terminal:
curl -fsSL {origin}/install.sh | bashTo remove it: curl -fsSL {origin}/install.sh | bash -s -- --uninstall
Windows
In PowerShell:
irm {origin}/install.ps1 | iexTo remove it, save install.ps1 and run it with -Uninstall.
For IT admins
Deploy to your whole organisation from the Microsoft 365 admin center. Outlook needs its own manifest, so upload both.
- Open Microsoft 365 admin center, then Settings → Integrated apps → Upload custom apps.
- Choose Office Add-in and Provide link to manifest file.
- Paste the Word, Excel and PowerPoint manifest URL, assign users or groups, and deploy.
- Repeat with the Outlook manifest URL.
Rollout can take up to 24 hours to reach every client. Already deployed from atlas-office.adid.dev? Update the app to these URLs.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint/manifest.xml
- Outlook/manifest.outlook.xml
You approve every write
Before Atlas changes a document it shows exactly what it will overwrite, and each change can be undone.
Never sends mail
Atlas drafts replies but never asks for permission to send, so it can't send anything.
Your own Atlas account
Sign in with your Atlas account. Conversations stay on your device, and the add-in's servers keep nothing.
